3 Benefits of Joining a Mastermind Group

Get Unstuck

Each person gets a hot seat every 2-3 months, and they can get valuable feedback from the group about a decision they're making, a challenge they're facing, or an opportunity they're considering.

Accountability

Each month you share your biggest business goal, and the next time you meet, you share with everyone how that goes. People have said this is very motivating for them and helps them be more productive.

Learning

You get to hear what other business owners are stuck on, and learn from their experiences in how they handle these issues. These may be issues you will face in the future.

How it Works

We gather virtually 10 times a year to do the following:

Our Mastermind Groups are facilitated peer advisory groups where entrepreneurs help each other grow. The goal of the group is to help members solve their problems with input and advice, and to provide encouragement and accountability.

The sessions will begin with updates from members of their monthly goals that were shared from the previous meeting. Then, two or three members share a challenge or opportunity where they want feedback or advice from fellow members. To close, each member shares the most important thing they need to accomplish in the coming month.

How the hotseats work:

The hot seat is a chance for you to get feedback on:

  • A decision you're making
  • A challenge you're facing
  • An opportunity you're considering

A few examples from other members:

  • Challenge - I'm getting a lot of prospects, but not many of them are becoming clients
  • Decision - Whether to pivot the business
  • Opportunity - feedback on new service you're thinking about launching

It's whatever you want to make of it. You have 20-25 minutes of dedicated time to benefit from the collective wisdom of your group. The goal is for the members to help you in whatever way you feel is the best.

Generally the format of the time is:

  • 5 minutes - you describe your situation and the decision/challenge/opportunity you're facing, what you've considered, what the options are
  • 5 minutes - members ask you clarifying questions
  • 10-15 minutes - members share their ideas, experiences, feedback

  • Each entrepreneur will get 5 hot seats in the year
