How it Works
Virtual Mastermind Groups
Mastermind Groups are facilitated peer advisory groups that meet monthly. The goal of the group is to help members solve their problems with input and advice from the other group members, and to provide encouragement and accountability.
The sessions will begin with updates from members of their monthly goals that were shared from the previous meeting. Then, two members shares a challenge or opportunity where they want feedback or advice from fellow members (e.g., how to pivot, how to grow sales, how to solve an issue on their team, etc.). To close, each member shares the most important thing they need to accomplish in the coming month.
Lunch & Learn (on pause)
Enjoy a delicious lunch and meet fellow entrepreneurs.
Each lunch we will interview a local entrepreneur where they will share the story of their business, lessons learned, challenges faced, and how they connect their faith and their business.
*These lunches are on pause until we can put together a team to organize and run these events.
Who We Are
The Business as Calling Community was started by Tim and Olive Chan as a way to serve Christian entrepreneurs. They believe that Christians in business have a critical role to play in expanding God's kingdom. Together, Tim and Olive run Coracle Marketing where they provide marketing services to small businesses. They live in Port Coquitlam with their two daughters and worship with the Tapestry Mundy Park church community.
The Business as Calling meetups are hosted by The Tapestry Mundy Park church, which is a multi-ethnic, multi-generational church community woven in faith, inspired by hope, and motivated by love.
